So I recently had a quick, and I mean quick, trip to Old San Juan. The town seemed really nice though, for the 3 hours that I got to see it. I'm assuming it looks even more nice in the daylight, wouldn't know though. Here are a few of my pics which aren't too dark.
Here is some of the architecture of the city, this is one of the alley ways...
And a pic of another street, very narrow, cobblestone, and very steep, makes for fun driving...
Here is a fort at the top of Old San Juan (found out the next day I was about 100 yards from some regetone drug hangout)...
A picture of the fort on the other side of the city...
Statue of Cristóbal Colón (Christopher Columbus to you and I)...
Government Building...
An Amazing tree next to a really quaint little restaurant, this tree is absolutely massive...
A picture of another tree, the trunks of these trees looked like giant vines, but were actually part of the tree...
And one more of the tree, the canopy of the tree stretched across two lanes of a road...
Some sort of bldg on the water, this was pretty nice at night...
One of the cruise ships in the harbor, this was the closest I've ever been to one of these ships, they are enormous, apparently my camera does an awful job of capturing size....
And the infamous Señor Frogs, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to partake in spring break 2008...
And finally, i wasn't taking a picture of this, but saw it today. Check out the alarm system on this van, I hear this type of security can run upwards of $10...
Unfortunately my pictures do an incredibly poor job of capturing the beauty of the city. It was a really colorful and vibrant city with some amazing looking restaurants (tons of them).
