Surprise Retirement Party

So last weekend i attended my first surprise retirement party in dunwoody to celebrate the retirement on nana from CHOA, although its not a total retirement, but a move to a full time position with our key sponsor Honeysuckle Soap (one word, you can find the link in the top right). You may ask yourself "How can I become a key sponsor for Jumping off a bridge?" We use a rigorous screening process to ween out incompatible sponsors. Well how do you know if you are a compatible sponsor? Give me free stuff...........or just ask.

Anyway, Aunt Pattie came into town all the way from quechee, VT for the festivities. A great time was had by all, here are some pics...

Happy Birthday Brooke!!!!

Last wednesday we met up with brooke, chris, nana and greg for a quick dinner in the highlands to celebrate brooke's birthday. Here are some pics from dinner.....

Savannah, Savannah

We decided to pay our respects to MLK on his holiday this year by leaving his birth place and taking a trip down to see the wade's in savannah. the weather was a little chilly an wet, so we couldn't do much outside, but we managed to have a really great time. We even got a baby sitter for friday night, and julie and drew gave stephanie and I a little one-on-one time at a quaint little restaurant (bar). We even hit up the hole-in-the-wall of savannah, Pinkies. I think we may have had a little to much fun on friday night, because saturday was a little rough.

We even had a surprise visit from Ice Man, as it turns out, henry is interested in a career as a pilot fireman, its a real job...


When its cold outside you have to resort to some indoor activities, henry was kind enough to ask brayden if he was interested in a game of hide and seek, i helped a little, but we found them...

The next day we headed out to tybee. brayden got his first experience in a dangling high chair at the bar...


And after hearing all about mommy and daddy's saucing the night before, he was super excited to get his hands on some sauce.....apple sauce...


And then it was off to bed for henry, brayden, margaret, and henry's shelby...


but apparently not before henry did a little saucing of his own...


just FYI, the title of this blog is an inside joke to stephanie and I (and i guess now everyone who reads this, so inside joke to the 3 of us). this british guy from the dog park in DC had a dog named savannah and would constantly yell to her. Its probably one of those "you had to be there things", but the way he said savannah was fairly humourous. So now any time we hear savannah we're reminded of the dog park in DC.

The Next Bill Gates???

So i'd love it if brayden becomes the next Tiger Woods, Jeff Francoeur, or Roger Federer. I'd even be ecstatic if he turns out to be the next Dave Matthews or Paul McCartney. But just in case those cards don't lie in his future, we're getting him started on an alternate career early....


I hear there is some money in these "computer" things...



If not, there is always the option of the exotic world of male modeling...

Day at the Zoo!!!

Shara, David, Gavin, Brayden, Stephanie and I all went to the zoo the other day. I know I am a little behind on the blogs, but from the look of these pictures you'd think i was about 6 months behind, but we're actually wearing shorts and tees on November 18th!!!

So apparently I've been a little busy since around thanksgiving or so, but here is a link to some updated pics of brayden. Can you believe he'll be 6 months old on tuesday!!!! He's getting so big its crazy. His hair is really starting to fill back in too, and he's talking a mile a minute, not that we know what he's saying, but i'm pretty sure it has something to do with getting him more food. speaking of which, he's eating solids 2x's a day now, and loving them, although he loves the fruits more than the veggies.
