Put that kid to work

The other night stephanie was working late so it was just Me and B. We usually play around a little before dinner, but at around 6:30 B got hungry. He went over to his chair and got his trey and brought it to me. Then went back to his chair and tried to climb up into it. After dinner we played around a little more until around 7:30 when B decided it was bath time. He crawled upstairs straight into the bathroom. After the bath i got him dressed for bed in his PJs and put him on the bed with his lovey while I brushed my teeth. When I walked back into the room, B had a book sitting next to him that he'd picked out all on his own from mommy's bedside table. As I walked into the room he patted the bed next to him, signaling to me that he wanted me to sit there and read to him, how can you argue with that.

I gave B a q-tip this morning after I got out of the shower to keep him occupied. Its funny how much he observes and absorbs. He took the q-tip and put it up to the side of his head. He didn't realize what he was doing, but he knew thats where those went.

Another on of B's hobbies that he's picked up from mommy and daddy is vacuuming...


we're working on getting him to get all the corners...


He's not sure what this thing is doing, but he knows that its loud, and blows air...


And that makes him happy...


enough to do his happy dance...

UGA/UF Game

Well, it wasn't much of a game, but we had a good time watching it. We went over to the Broach's to watch the game, and there were lots of kids there, and they all had a great time. Unfortunately its impossible to get that many kids to sit still for a picture...


eventually you're going to lose one...


and then some new ones might show up...


This is as close as we could come to getting them all together...


but how could we actually expect them to sit still in a yard full of all these sticks...

After the Halloween Party

So after the halloween party, B and I went up to the park to play around a little. A few commons themes you'll notice with B:

1. He loves Water...

2. He really loves sticks...


3. He just realized that there were planes and helicopters in the air, and he loves them...

B's Halloween Party

So B had a fun little Halloween parade and party at his school on Halloween. Unfortunately we didn't make it to school in time for the parade, but we did catch the party. It was quite a shin-dig. The menu at the party included cookies, munchkins, dibs (ice cream), cake, chips and salsa, and carrots (one of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong...). Guess what was left on all the kids plates when the meal was done...

We love the bib's they use at school, we need to get some of these for the house...

And then the munchkin, and so on, and so on until nothing was left, but the lonely 'ol carrots...



After eating his feast, B and mommy washed up...


I think B's pretty much done with sugar until next Halloween...

Trying to Empty my Camera Phone...

So we figured out that Brayden loves pizza, the lemon we offered him...not so much, here is a pic from mellow mushroom from a little while back, that place is soooooooooo good...


and here is a pic i snapped of one of the christmas trees being delivered about a month ago, not sure where the final destination was...


And here are some pics of the lady who rides the toy scotter all over town, seriously, this thing was made for a 3 year old, its hilarious...

and waiting to cross the street, i have to admit she was getting around a lot faster than I was walking, i'd probably ride it (assuming it comes in some other color)...
