Brayden and I made the local edition of our companies news letter this month. Our company sponsored a trick or treat event for the family of employees and B had a blast. He ate a couple of pieces of pizza, flirted with all of the ladies in the office, and had a blast playing with the copy machine and all of the cabinets. It was so much fun to bring him into the office, he really didn't want to leave...
Here is the picture from the newsletter....
and here is the picture of the rest of the group...
more pictures of the monkey to follow.....at some point...

Photo Shoot at the Park....Gone bad?
So we tried to do a little photo shoot at the park this afternoon, but it turned into more of a "lets bump and bruise our child-a-thon", all unintentionally of course to you DFACS members out there. It started with the big scratch he mysteriously got on his left cheek on the way to the park. Then there was the scratch on his nose and bump on his head from when he tripped while walking. And ended when he got pummeled by a little dog at the dog park, poor little guy never saw it coming. But we managed to get a few good pictures out of it...
Say Cheese...
We're really having some fun now...
I was going to title this abercrombie kids, but he has way to many clothes on for that...
Did i ever mention brayden's secrect passion....picking up trash...
B with the skyline in the background....and the willy's lid...
with the scratch by his eye he sort of looks like a vilan from Bond in this picture.
And more like a vilan from austin powers in this one (get in my belly)...
how do you teach kids about homophone's, i know we said what jack and shelby do is bark, but...
Oh hey neighbor, how's it going..
weather for today, mostly sunny, chance of drool 100%...

Not sure if this is what MLK was talking about...
Saw this on a bus this morning on the way to work (couldn't get picture of actual bus). I don't claim to be a historian when it comes to the civil rights movement, but I'm pretty sure when Martin Luther King, Jr. made his speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial this is not what he was referring to...

Great Advertising.....
I saw something today that I can't recall having ever seen before. It was an absolutely fantastic advertising technique........for the 15 minutes it lasted. Unfortunately I missed the actual act of creating this, but the end result was absolutely amazing...
I had to take this picture upside down...
here is a little better angle...
This must be one great sale, so I encourage everyone to check out airtran's big sale, and I'm going to have to assume they won't "advertise" on your actual flights...
But that reminds me of my experience 2 weeks ago flying to New Orleans. I had to fly to NOLA 2 times that week. On both of the return flights we had to abort the landing when we were within 50 feet of the runway. The first time was because an alarm went off in the cabin that one of the flaps wasn't working properly. The pilots assured us everything was fine, but I didn't feel all that confident when I looked out of the windows upon landing and saw about 10 firetrucks and emergency rescue vehicles with their lights flashing and ready to go. The second time was a little less dramatic and was blamed on there being another plane being towed across the runway. Some might call it bad luck, but I'd say they were 2 for 2, as I'm here to write about it, and as the saying goes "any landing you can walk away from is a good one"...you can ask travis barker or DJ AM about that.

Our Night away at Brasstown Valley
Stephanie's family all pitched in for her birthday and got us a night away at the brasstown valley resort in north georgia. The weather was absolutely perfect. We took part in the kinds of activities you would expect when heading into the north georgia mountains, such as hiking, relaxing in front of the fireplace, and outlet shopping. We even got to see not one, but two weddings.
Here are mommy and B starting up the trail...
B decided it would be a lot cooler to hitch a ride up on daddy's shoulders...
Brayden is absolutely nuts about nature...
he loves it so much he just hates to leaf it behind...
But it was time to get ready for dinner and golf...
The drive...
the approach...and its in the hole...
Its a Cinderella story...
Of course there were lots more holes that needed tending...
pretty sure he was trying to steal this pin...
Exhausted after a round...
But now he's ready to go cause some more mayhem...
Like I said, we got to witness two weddings while we were at the resort. The people there said in the coming weeks that they were actually hosting 3 weddings per saturday, really pumping them through there. Here is the wedding site at the resort shortly after the second ceremony...
and the hupa...
and of course the traditional tequila shots...
